In this article, we will focus on the pH levels for carpet cleaning and how that can affect how clean your carpet will get when using certain cleaners.
What is pH?
In the cleaning industry, pH refers to the relative alkalinity and acidity of the water-based solutions. You will find the range between zero and fourteen to indicate the pH level of any product.
Acids have a pH between zero and seven. Zero means that the solution is the most acidic and seven means that it is neutral. Neutral means the solution is neither alkaline nor acidic. If the reading is more than seven, then the product will be considered to have an increased amount of alkaline.
