El Dorado is an unincorporated community four miles southwest of Placerville in El Dorado County, California. The town is located in between Diamond Springs and Kingsville. The community is a combination of suburban and residential neighborhoods in the town center and rural areas in the southern part. Homes you could purchase in the central district include single-family homes, mobile homes, townhouses, and apartments. These residents are ideally located close to most of the local businesses and schools within the town center. There are also acreage homes and other residential properties available for purchase further south of El Dorado.
