Music In the Museum Stirred Up Emotion

The Crowley Chamber Trio of the University of Dallas presented "Music in the Museum," on Thursday, February 28, 2019. I was fortunate to receive an invitation. Lucky for me, I got a front row, first chair seat. The last time I heard a live Classical Musical Concert was back when I was on an Elementary Grade School field trip. To me, the musicians, Kristin Van Clever, Jim Higgins, and Andrey Ponochevny sounded like something new to me and it was as if I was hearing Classical Music for the very first time. Adnam Sami was right - "the real charm of classical is its purity." 
The Museum of Biblical Art was the perfect setting to hear music arranged by Jim Higgins, who has appeared with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Des Moines Symphony, Rogue Valley Symphony, and the Illinois Symphony, Irving Symphony, Orchester der Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele and Belarusian State Symphony with Kristin Van Cleve, Director of the Music Department ... more
