Open houses announced for GA 400 express lanes The proposed toll lanes are being presented to the public in a series of meetings over the next few weeks.   Author: Tanner Flowers Published: 4:01 PM EST February 12, 2019 Updated: 4:08 PM EST February 12, 2019 GA 400 could become the next metro Atlanta highway to get toll-based express lanes. But first, GDOT is opening the process to public comment in a series of open houses throughout the corridor in late February and early March.
The express lanes, which will be similar to those currently open on I-85 and I-75, will span from the North Springs MARTA station in the south to McFarland Parkway in the north with construction set to begin in 2021.
