Doing business in a Faraday cage.
Here is a table tent that is now available to purchase from our local Realtor's board.
It touches on a brave new issue.  When you're touring a listing with your buyers, you may be under surveillance, and it may not be evident.
It used to be that video taping devices were large and cumbersome, but today, cameras have gotten so small, that they can be hidden in electric outlets, clocks, teddy bears.  People often install them as "nanny cams", but that doesn't mean they can't spy on you and your buyers, too.
I tell my buyers to treat every home as though we're being watched and overheard.  If we have something private to say, we can say it when we're back in the car.  I never like to discuss a potential purchase nor strategy while in the house.
And this isn't news simply for buyer's agents either.  Listing agents should know that their sellers are watching and listening to those showings... and they're going to be coming to you with complaints. "I don't want that Alan May showing my property anymore... he made disparaging remarks about my wallpaper".
They're also watching/listening how you represent the property when you hold Open Houses.  "You didn't tell them about ... more
