New to the Neighborhood?
When people move and have pets there are some etiquette and safety tips to consider before walking the dog and visiting local Doggie Parks:
 
Seek Vet recommendations and make sure vaccinations are current  Check local ordinances to make sure your dog is in compliance Secure yards and home perimeters to make sure dogs don't run away Make sure your home and yards are safe for pets Change ID tags and records with current owner contact information  
Socialization
Owners and their pets may want to meet the neighbors Find out if there are Doggie Parks Seek information about Doggie Day Cares  
Dog Parks
Invest in Flea and Tick Collars Make sure the leash fits comfortably and won't break Visit parks and read Park Regulations without your dogs beforehand Take a doggie pack and pack essentials Don't text and talk on phones - keep your eyes on dogs at all times Watch for sharp objects and safety issues Watch out for four-legged bullies

Water Bottles and Drinking Devices Treats for after the park is over Simple Toys if parks permit Blankets First Aid Kits Contact numbers for emergencies (Vets or Animal Control)
