If you are a Carlsbad resident and you have hazardous waste you would like to get rid of (and who doesn’t these days!), this is your opportunity.
 
The City of Carlsbad is sponsoring a HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE RECYCLING event Saturday April 6, 2019 from 9 am until 3 pm, as part of their recycling services program.
 
NOTE: Appointments are required, as is valid proof of Carlsbad residency.
 
Here is a partial list of household hazardous waste items that are acceptable at the drop-off. You can check out the City of Carlsbad website for a complete list.
 
Paint, Pool Chemicals, Auto Fluids
Computers/TVs/Electronics, All Batteries
Fluorescent Bulbs, Motor Oil and Oil Filters
Household Cleaners, Pesticides & Herbicides
Sharps and Pharmaceuticals
 
The Carlsbad Hazardous Waste Recycling and Drop Collection is a FREE event for residents of Carlsbad. Online REGISTRATION begins on March 18 (link will be available at 8 am) - you MUST have an appointment to drop-off your hazardous waste. Registration continues until March 29th or until full.
 
The 2019 Carlsbad Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Drop-off event will be held at 5815 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA  92008, by Faraday off El Camino Real.
