Does Staging Help Sell a House Faster?Recently I took a listing that I knew would be a challenge to sell for several reasons. The interior of the home is relatively newer, rebuilt approximately four years ago due to a fire by the previous owner. The rebuild included a new roof, new dual pane windows, and a new A/C and water heater among other features. All great bonuses for the new homeowner!
However, the square footage of the home is small with only 1123 square feet and the layout is a bit challenging. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but one bedroom is very small and you have to walk through this room to get to the master bedroom at the back of the house. 
I normally do my own photography on new listings so after the photo shoot on this property, I was really disappointed with the results. To say the least, my photos did not look very bright or appealing and they definitely didn't portray this home's greatest potential. Regardless of photo editing, I just wasn't happy with the photos of the house.
