And Carlsbad's reputation as an arts community – visual arts, music, theater – continues to expand, and much of it is FREE. You can’t beat that!
 
The Carlsbad Music Festival is pleased to present the outdoor Eclectic Lawn Concert Series in Carlsbad Village on 3 consecutive Sunday afternoons – March 31, April 28 and May 19 – at St. Michael’s by the Sea from 1 until 5 pm.
 
Here’s the line-up for this free concert series:
 
March 31
Sunny War, The Red Fox Tails, Son de San Diego, Cindy Lee Berryhill
 
April 28
Trouble in the Wind, Diane Gameros, Matt McBane + Build, Sibarg Ensemble
 
May 19
The Paragraphs, Viento Callejero, Clinton Davis, Peter Sprague
 
This adventurous music series should be lots of fun and will also offer a beer garden and food trucks – El Puerto Mexican and Seafood, and Bread and Cheese Catering.
 
Be sure to bring along your blankets and low-back beach chairs, sunscreen and hats, and money for food and drinks.
