The Little Things.......
Little things can make me really happy. Two days ago a neighbor who had worked for a contractor I knew came by. He helps me do things I am unable to tackle myself: roof raking the snow, fixing doors etc. I have a number of trees in my yard and I love hanging things from them. Some of the branches are too high for me to reach even with a ladder. So my neighbor who is significantly taller than I am, came by and moved a bamboo wind hanger and a put up a bird whose wings more in the wind. It was a little thing but it made me really happy. He's on vacation now in South Carolina. I hope he enjoys the check I gave him for a special dinner out with his wife.
