Backyard Pool "Fun Zones" in Eden Prairie!

Below are are a few tips and things to be aware of as you consider buying a home with a pool:
1.  How much maintenance is required? On average, about one hour of time and approx $100 per month (to cover unexpected repairs, parts, accessories and pool chemicals. (Ususally around $500 - $1,000 total per year) according to America's #1 Direct Source Pool Supplier.
2. Ask if the owner has a "pool binder" with detailed, accurate, and regularly mainted records and notes on work that has been done to keep the pool in good shape over time. 
3. If you decide you love the home, but don't want the pool, remember that there is a cost of approx $10,000 - $12,000 to break up the floor of the pool (so water can permeate the ground) and the top half of the pool usually gets removed before being filled in.
