Texas is now in its peak Tornado Season. The most recent tornados were four on May 4, 2019. Kids, stormwater, and ditches do not mix. Do you know what to do in case of a tornado and are you prepared, taking necessary precautions if necessary?
 
Tornadoes are dangerous storms that can cause major damage to people, property, animals, infrastructure, schools, churches, public places, commercial buildings, vehicles, and landscaping. Below are some things you can do:
 
Update Medical and Insurance Documents and store them in a Safety Deposit Box

Check Home Insurance - Are you insured and are you adequately insured?  Estimated Property Taxes were mailed in April, do you have enough to rebuild? What are you covered for in case of a tornado or natural disaster? If you own antiques or art, are you covered? Is your auto insurance up-to-date? Are your medical records and emergency contacts up-to-date? If you are in need of medical prescriptions, where is it recorded? Does your family know what to do in case of an emergency?

The best time to have a roof replaced due to hail is August or September, not May-July Trim your trees and get rid of dead branches ... more
