What is that asked the Home Buyer?
What may be funny to rural New Hampshire Home Sellers, really had the buyer holding their nose asking, "what is that smell?"The buyers were a big city. They are retiring and wants lot of land. They chose a couple of rural NH towns to look in.
 
SO what was the smell? The neighbors have a small farm, horses, cows and i saw some goats. The wind was blowing in the right direction to bring the odor our way. The buyer loved the home, but that smell, was it a deal breaker?
 
We were there quite a while. The current sellers had come home and we all sat talking about the smell. The unfortunate part was it over shadowed how nice the home was. The buyer could not take it and was ready to both leave and rule it out. 
 
The chore now is finding a rural home where there are no smells, no farms and no animals. It was good this happened on the first showing so we could have a reality check with the buyer. There are lots of different towns, different rural settings and knowing what they like and what they do not is a great start to finding their dream home.
