Thank a Tree on May 16 National Love a Tree Day

Have you thanked a tree yet? May 16 is National Love a Tree Day,
Trees provide shade, fruit, oxygen and stability for our soil. May 16 is a today to celebrate and show love, care and appreciation of trees. Hug a tree, walk amongst trees and thank trees for the fresh air they provide. I thank God for making trees for us to enjoy.
Did you know the average adult tree provides enough oxygen for four people daily? That's amazing!
  Trees provide more than just beautiful landscapes. They reduce soil erosion and help moderate climate temperatures as well as give us oxygen. Large quantities of carbon are stored in their tissues as trees remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. 
Most species of trees tend to be long-lived. There are some trees live to be several thousand years old, such as famous  redwood trees in California. The tallest known tree is 379 ft. tall. 
Trees are a vital part of the environment and ecosystem we all live within. Without the oxygen production of trees and plants, global warming would be even worse than it is. Planting more trees can help offset the carbon production of humans.
