Michigan Home Buying Tips - How not to get fired by your realtor
Here are some metro Detroit home buying tips to think about.  Working with a client is a two way street.  When we get a buyer coming to us we want a buyer that is going to buy a home.  As a buyer you want to be ready, able, and willing to buy a house when you start going out to look at homes.  There are several things that stick out as a qualifications to being a good buyer.  They are:
Ready to buy.....the buyer has gone out and gotten their pre-approval letter Serious about buying.....yes there are many not so serious buyers.  They are looking for that "perfect house" or dream home Realistic about what they can buy, what they want for the price range they are in Realistic about putting in an offer Listening to your agent  All five of these have come up during my 19 years of experience working with buyers.  I have gotten very good at picking up indications of whether a buyer is serious or not.  I went through and checked on three buyers I started working with last spring.  We ended up parting ways because I realized they were not good buyers.  I just checked ... more
