Top 10 Wealthiest Cities in Phoenix Arizona Metro
Have you wondered about the top 10 cities in the Phoenix metro area that are the wealthiest? Well we do not know about the per city median accumulated net worth through inheritance or hard work but we can see the income by individual, household and family which is usually a good indicator. 
 
This chart shows income from around Arizona, however if you look just at cities in Maricopa County, they rank in this order (income per capita):
 
1. Paradise Valley
2. Carefreee
3. Rio Verde
4. Scottsdale
5. Cave Creek
6. Litchfield Park
7. Sun Lakes
8.  Fountain Hills
9. Sun City West
10. Sun City
11. New River (almost tied with Sun City)
 
Note, Scottsdale has among the highest incomes and some incredible homes but is ranked fourth as it is a larger city and the higher incomes are averaged in with strong middle class elements. Some of the smaller cities in population have a smaller middle class yet a very affluent base, like Paradise Valley, Carefree and Rio Verde. Note, three cities have a strong 55+ age group of age restricted communities with still strong income not to mention accumulated wealth (Sun Lakes, Sun City West and Sun City). All of these are in the top 10.
