Plano Second Quarter 2019 Housing Market Statistic
The city of Plano is a part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. It is mostly in Collin County, but includes a small portion that extends into Denton County. As of 2017 the city's population was estimated at 286,143, making it the ninth most populous city in the state of Texas.
