This is the post that nearly didn't happen.  For a number of reasons.  I started.  Then paused.  Pondered.  Put it aside.  And now I am back...again...maybe I will complete the challenge by Jeff Dowler, CRS.  Maybe not.  We'll see.  No promises.   
 
I have read quite a few of the posts and am impressed with how so many members have shared their lives in unique and creative ways.  So here's mine:  
 
Whistle While You Work - I started in real estate in Fall, 1993 but my history with real estate of many kinds goes back much further with a great-grandfather who was a home builder(never knew him) and a great uncle(also gone before I was born) who was an architect.  I grew up in the shadow of Disneyland when orange groves were turning into subdivisions rapidly.  Believe it or not house hunting and designing home floor plans was something I enjoyed. Fortunately my parents indulged my somewhat odd-for-a-child obsession in numerous ways.  Although real estate was not my original occupation the career change didn't come as much of a surprise to many who knew me.  The years beginning with 2009 brought changes as usual to life and real estate as it continues ... more
