White Haven PA - The Hidden Gem of the Western Poconos
White Haven PA - The Western Pocono Mountains, a rather well kept secret until recently. Being only 10-15 minutes to the slopes at Jack Frost Mountain as well as being the Home of White Water Rafting and downhill Biking Trips, White Haven PA is poised to start an epic climb in stature, joining the ranks of the towns of Jim Thorpe, Pocono Lake, Lake Harmony and the rest of what we know as The Poconos! With small, low key and fairly unknown lake communities like Penn Lake and White Haven Poconos, White Haven PA - The Western Pocono Hamlets will be sure to please!
 
Long considered God's Country by many folks, White Haven offers some Not so Commercialized lake communities as well as plenty to offer outside of the traditional lake communities. The Francis E Walter Dam, best known for the place that the water is released for the white water rafting trips along the Lehigh River, is now being sought after for it's gorgeous park space, kayak launches and power boating capabilities ( Motors limited to 10HP). This Dam recreation area is also surrounded by abundant gamelands for the sportsmen/women.
