Even A Broken Clock Even A Broken Clock Each of us is likely familiar with the phrase that even a broken clock is right twice a day. For absolutely no reason my mind pondered about questioning. But while questioning of all sorts may be on some minds, the concept of information-gathering has been something I have pondered for some time. Some may say for much too long. When I think of questioning, I tend to think of answers too. Isn't the goal of asking questions finding information? At least that's part of it I hope. It can be achieved in a number of ways. Remember back when you were in school. There may have been a child in the front row of the classroom enthusiastically waving their hand. Asking a question, perhaps answering. Maybe some non sequitur. Lots of possible reasons. Over time, my view of such activity has evolved. I once thought such obvious attention-getting was rather self-serving. Perhaps I was wrong. Well, I certainly hope I have grown and evolved since life as a somewhat precocious first-grader. Life changes and evolves all around us...each and every day. It's all about information-gathering even when the source of that information appears to be broken ... more
