How is POLITICS on Social Media affecting the Real Estate market?
This is not a political rant and I am not taking sides. This is a story how social media is affecting some real estate sales. Lets take a situation here in the Manchester NH area.  In social media, keyboard warriors and those that like to complain are growing. Many people think that if it is online, it must be true.

We have a few local community pages here in my area. When something happens, you will see it on social media long before the "news" reports it. You will get assumptions, guesses, social media detectives and those adding their quick 2 cents.

Lets take politics. No not national... but local. People are quick to bash the Mayor, the police, hospitals, teachers, unions, road crews and drugs. Many subjects a Realtor wont touch with two eight foot poles. I find myself answering more questions than ever on Social media from locals looking to sell to buyers from all over, looking to buy in my area.

Rule #1 is do not feed the trolls, which means i dont argue with anyone on social media. No matter how right or wrong anyone is. I do answer questions in the comments section, in private message, email, phone calls and people I see anywhere ... more
