Can't Make It Better
Today was the first time I took my dogs to be groomed since my Billy died. It was and is really hard. I knew the others were more anxious than usual and when the groomer saw me I cried. I came home and watered the flowers particularly those around Billy's grave. I spoke to him but frankly it didn't help. Some things can't be made better.
This is clear the Shelters Weekend. As hard as the loss is at least I know that Billy was happy with me and I loved him dearly. So many wonderful dogs and cats die in shelters waiting for a person who never comes. Do yourself a favor and adopt a pet who will enhance your life.
