Bard College Montgomery Place Campus
Montgomery Place in the town of  Red Hook NY was designated a National Historic Landmark.  This is a 380-acre estate with views of the Hudson River and Catskills Mountains.  It was the estate of a member of the prominent Livingston family.
 
The house was open for tours at one point, however, in the last few years, it was acquired by Bard College. and is now known as  Bard College Montgomery Place Campus.
From sunrise to sunset the public can access the grounds where you will find beautiful gardens, majestic Locust trees, and there is even a waterfall.
