Fall is In The Air
 
Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I always look forward to the start of the fall season. And today's the day!  Having grown up during a time when school didn't start until the second week of September, the new school year and the fall season to me were always the signal of a "new" year in general... more so than on January 1st. And here in Charlotte, fall is in the air... while the temperatures are still summer-like, we can see trees beginning to turn color.
 
One of my favorite quotes about fall is:

Since spring is my favorite season (maybe because I was born on the first day of spring), I like thinking of the fall season as a "second spring."
