PVE-CARES 2019 Annual Senior Health Fair
  PVE-CARES Senior Health & Wellness Fair will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Palos Verdes Golf Club located at 3301 Via Campesina, Palos Verdes Estates. Palos Verdes 14th Annual Senior Health & Wellness Fair is offered by PVE-CARES (Community Assistance and Resources for the Elderly and Seniors).  The program was created by the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department to assist seniors so they may live independently and feel safe in their homes on the Peninsula.  The program offers many different events to increase awareness of city services for seniors – updating them on security issues, how to notify the police department when leaving on vacation to local assistance in health care and medical needs. Palos Verdes homes owners will again be able to get information and medical screenings at the Wellness Fair.  PVE-CARES will be serving a box lunch for $8 and there will be live entertainment for all to enjoy.  The Fair will also feature a drawing for prizes and many exhibitors of local resources geared toward senior services.   This is an excellent time to take advantage of these great services, and also to have a relaxing visit at one of the most beautiful locations here ... more
