  The Protest described below was part of a WORLD-WIDE desire to focus attention on the issue of Climate Change.   September 28, 2019
 BEFORE PROTEST below ====================================
Atlanta Police Department Communications Manager Marla Rooker issued an announcement about the Climate Change Protest for Friday, September 27th, 2019 near the Buckhead Marta Station at 3360 Peachtree Road NE.
Student participation is expected. Of course, they will be the ones facing the future so their involvement is understandable.  
Ms. Rooker stated that "Officers will be in the immediate area to ensure everyone’s safety and assist with traffic flow as the gathering may have an impact on traffic. Please be mindful of the participants and our police presence on Peachtree Road in the area of the Buckhead MARTA station, Atlanta Financial Center, Lenox Square, etc."
