Marketing In Real Estate & Politics Are Similar | Visibility Is Key

 
During the past 10 days, I’ve been deeply involved in local politics and helping a retired Franklin Police Officer run for a Town Council position. His name is Brian Chandler, and I’ve committed to marketing him.
It’s actually helped our real estate business. I’ve contacted people I haven’t spoken to in decades!! I was surprised they remembered me, but I had nothing to lose and everything to gain by contacting them.
I needed permission for sign placement. The same principles are true of Politics as they are for Branding in real estate. Branding is branding, no matter what the profession. The more visible, the better. It’s going to be tough to forget the name Brian Chandler!!
I was able to shake some fruit from the tree from a few of those contacts.  I think there will be some business in the future from it.
Election Day is not until November 5th and we already have 100 signs visible. People are commenting to Brian that he has signs everywhere.
I decided every home with a sign needed two more very close to it, and next door is even better.  Perception becomes reality in the voting booth!!!  We have a few of those “trifectas” on main ... more
