Scotch Plain real estate isn't scary

Are you in for a trick or a treat?
We're ending the summer with lower inventory than this time last year - only 161 homes offered for sale with 24 sold in September, compared to 171 homes and 31 sold in September of 2018. Decreasing inventory often results in increased prices and faster sales. So far, prices haven't shown this increase with the average sale in September being $495,000, about 7% lower than this time last year.
