The annual Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze is open at the Carlsbad Strawberry Company in Carlsbad until November 2nd.
 
No question the Carlsbad Strawberry Company is best known for its strawberries; you can buy already picked or enjoy picking them yourself.
 
But at Halloween time they open up the farm for a huge pumpkin patch with great photo opportunities, and the chance for kids to pick their favorite pumpkin or two, or three.
 
They also offer a corn maze that is sure to please.
 
The Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze are located at 1050 Cannon Road, opposite Car Country and just east of the 5 freeway. There is plenty of free parking. Hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm daily. Games, rides and food are available on the weekends.
 
The cost for the maze is $25 and you can order in advance or pay when you arrive. The Corn Maze trail is about 1 mile and becomes a haunted Field of Screams from 7 pm to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Do you dare? Proceeds benefit the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation.
