Who's Ready For Some Winter Time Fun in the Poconos?
As I am sitting here writing this post I cannot believe it is October 28 already and that Christmas Music can be heard on Channel 70 on the Sirius XM Radio System. This is one of the most anticipated times of the year here in the Pocono Mountains because we are officially into THAT time of year where Snow can be injected into the forecast at any time. Although we have been blessed with a pretty nice Fall season with temps hovering around upper 50's and even 60's at times, the first week of November appears to be changing all that with the day time highs in the upper 40's and overnight lows in the 30's and even 20's so Jack Frost is right around the corner.
 
 
If you are like me you are getting amped up for the white stuff. In my opinion there is no better time of the year to be outside enjoying mother nature than winter time. Personally snow shoeing and playing with the dogs out in the snow are two of my favorite things physically to do outside. A snowmobile is on my wish list for this year as well to take long excursions around the neighborhood ... more
