Think Thin Thursday ~ Raising the White Flag on Halloween
My abilities to fend off the urge to indulge were strong until I saw this staring at me from the kitchen counter:
The external struggle is difficult enough but when the "Better Half" prepares a Halloween cake in the middle of the night while you're sleeping and this is what you wake up to what are you going to do? I just grin and bear it saying to her, "you're killing me". She responds with an "I know". I forgot to mention that I was once known as the Carbohydrate Kid. It's not easy being me! What's for breakfast?
 
“Qu’ils mangent de la brioche” or “Let them eat cake.” is not a good response as Marie-Antoinette soon learned.
