The Charlotte region's housing market in the third quarter of 2019 can best be described as having strong buyer demand and tight supply of housing inventory, which was down 19% compared with the third quarter of 2018. Lack of inventory saw average list prices increase 4.4% compared with the same time frame one year ago, while average sale prices increased 6.8%. No doubt that Charlottre remains a home seller's market as we look to the final quarter of 2019.
