Honolulu Farmers Market Guide: Kaka‘ako Farmers Market Wed. 3PM - 7PM

Kaka‘ako Farmers Market
Wednesday Evenings 3PM- 7PM
Saturday Mornings 8AM - 12PM
1050 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96814
at Ward Ave and Ala Moana Blvd

Kaka‘ako Farmers Market offers a selection of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, sourced from Hawai‘i-only farms as well as on occasion locally caught fish and free range beef and venison. The over-all size and the variety of fresh produce and meat available often changes from week to week depending on the season and the number of participating producers. It is not as large or as well attended as Kapi'olani Community College Farmers Market but many of the same vendors participate in both locals.

The challenge of this particular local is the sun and heat at certain times of the year, as the area has little shade compared to other Farmers Markets in Honolulu and can be quite hot in the late afternoon, so don't forget your sun-screen.

Regardless of the heat, it is a good place to find and sample the many different grown or made in Hawaii products and discover new companies that would greatly appreciate your patronage and support. There is live music and a varied selection of Hawaiian sundries including many plate lunch and specialty food vendors to round out the selection of local purveyors.

Admission:
Free entry. Food and beverages available ... more
