Think Before You Act | Your Actions Can Leave A Permanent Branding

Just in case you were not aware, real estate agents are “control freaks” regardless of where they might be. They’re always center-stage.
 
We’re marketing consistently, no matter what task we might be doing. If there is another person involved in that particular task, you’re marketing. Every conversation is a reflection of your thoughts. That’s marketing. Every action taken is a form of marketing.  
 
We market “ourselves” all-day-long. It’s important for real estate agents to realize that no matter where they are, someone is watching. Someone is paying attention, watching and listening to the performance. That’s how we become “branded." It’s like a “branding iron” that leaves a “permanent message.” When one is in sales, it’s show-time “all the time.”
 
There are no breaks unless you’re in the confines of your own home. Be mindful of that when you’re at your local “watering hole.” It’s fine to play “loosey-goosey” but if you’re the featured act, be ready to deal with it in the future.
 
 
This happens easily when one mixes business with pleasure, and they feel they’re in a safe place!  There are no safe places beyond your own roof.
