Thanksgiving is a long holiday weekend that will run from Thursday through Sunday. Think about that for a moment. Many folks are traveling, and those who are not will either be entertaining family or they will take advantage of that long weekend and begin Christmas shopping. All of that makes sense, but it also leaves gaps in the real estate business.
For those who are concerned about future business, you’ve been blessed. People who are searching for a home will continue to search after Thanksgiving Day. They’ll be visiting Open House events that are scheduled for the weekend.
Are you still thinking?  Have you thought about doing those listing agents a favor and hosting an open house for them? Oh wait, that’s doing yourself a favor, and what better way to pick up new business that listing agents would normally get but they have an acceptable excuse for not working!
Contact those listing agents and attempt to secure several open house events during Saturday and Sunday. This is a race to the finish line, and the majority of agents have cleared a path for you.
