Hele mai Downtown Honolulu and join Shaka Santa and Tūtū Mele for an illuminating evening of entertainments, ono grinds, Christmas themed treats and of course the bright and out of sight Honolulu City Lights 2019.
Meet Santa, watch the lighting of the Honolulu Hale Christmas tree, and tour this year’s Honolulu City Lights opening night on Saturday, Dec. 7. Every year since 1987, Honolulu Hale lights has brightened the night and the hearts of countless children at heart.
The event is Free and hosted by the city and the Friends of Honolulu City Lights. Opening night features a parade, entertainments for all ages and the official lighting of the 50-foot tree at Honolulu Hale.
Honolulu City Lights opens on Saturday, Dec. 7 with a block party at 4 PM at Honolulu Hale featuring food booths and keiki rides, followed by the electric light parade at 6 PM and tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 PM
The parade will start at River Street, proceed on King Street past Honolulu Hale and end at Kawaiaha‘o Street. Click here for a route map. The Honolulu Hale courtyard will open at 6:30 PM
