Mortgage Rates The Day After Christmas
As I previously mentioned; this time of year things are slow in the mortgage industry...really slow. But that doesn't mean applications are at zero so for those that are looking to start a new application to purchase a home or refinance a mortgage we're here to help!
What a differene a year makes. Last year at this time mortgage rates we're significantly higher than the level they are at today. Overall purchase and refinance mortgage rates are near their multi year lows despite the resolution (or at least partial) to the US-China trade deal (which was major concern heading into December).

So if you are looking to purchase a home or refinance a current mortgage you probably want an idea of where mortgage rates are currently.
This is a general overview of the two most popular terms (30 year and 15 year fixed rate mortgage).
