We Got Flocked Again on Lake Arrowhead!
Thanksgiving is a blur because of the winter storm we received here in Lake Arrowhead, but there is nothing like a white Christmas. Well, almost. Our winter storm began late Christmas Day and is finally winding down some. We definitely got flocked again with power outages and business closings (and roads too). Still, it's a beautiful site here in Lake Arrowhead as you peek out the windows and see the branches of pines covered in snow. Actually, everything is covered in snow. 
 

Here in the mountains of Lake Arrowhead, we definitely get its fair share of snow. It is part of the beauty of the four seasons here. Throughout the winter you get to enjoy the brilliance of snow covered trees and mountains and in the fall you get to experience the brilliant colors of autumn as the leaves turn colors and create their very won "light" show. Spring and summer is full of all the amazing outdoor events and activities. From fishing and hiking to boating and jet skiing. And, of course, so much more. 
 

I'll take the beauty of winter nestled here in my cabin on the mountain for the few short months it shows itself. Its worth it and so many here on Lake ... more
