Just keep breathing.... and Happy 2020 New Year!
There is just never a dull moment in my family.  If you'd asked me last week if my husband would be spending new year's eve away from me or spending 11 days in Hawaii without me I would have said "absolutely not". I'm pretty sure my tone would have been "are you crazy" when I was saying absolutely not.  Yet here I am on new year's eve in Georgia while my Donald is in Hawaii.
Our brother in law (Mario Silva- married to my husband's sister)  passed away very unexpectedly during the night of the 28th. As if that's not bad enough that's my sister in law Kelly's (Kelly is Donald's older sister)  birthday.  I was all wrapped up in my feeling being sad because the first anniversary of my cousin Keith passing was the 26th.  In fact that morning when the appraiser called and said "hey, does this house have a lockbox?" After my reply he asked if I was sick.  Told him, nope, not sick, just "in my feelings".
Death is in fact just a part of life and my dealing with it doesn't stop me from doing my job (yet) and moving forward with my life, but if you know ... more
