National Dress Up Your Pet Day on January 14th provides a special day to celebrate one's pet and show off their fashion style. Not all pets like dressing up, so be sure the animal is both comfortable and safe. Tips for dressing up your pet:
If one's pet just doesn’t like dressing up, let them sit this holiday out. This is what SnapChat and InstaGram filters are for. Be sure the outfit fits. Restricting movement or the pet's ability to breathe or eat can cause injury or illness. Many pets like to chew. Avoid loose or dangling pieces which can cause choking hazards. Get a stylish bandana, bow, or collar to show off one's fresly groomed pet. Be sure to capture some favorite pet photos.
