PolaRotary Bear Plunge - Icy Cold Water Plunge Fundraiser
On Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10:00am, located at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa ( On the Beach ) You can tell Bill Pumford to " Go Jump in the Lake!" The water is bound to be icy cold, but he's being a good sport and raising money for the Rim of the World Historical Society. You can support Jim by joining in on the icy plunge or you can make a donation that is tax deductible to the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Foundation. 
It's going to fun! You are not allowed a wet suit, no nudity and you have to completely submerge yourself into the icy water. Costumes are encouraged and will make this so much more fun! 
 
The Rim of the World Historical Society promotes, preserves and collects knowledge of mountain history that is essential to the basic quality of life. Their mission is to provide a permanent museum to foster the education of the mountain communities and provide an appreciation of the history throughout the San Bernardino Mountains. 
 
Currently, the Rim of the World Historical Society offers events like Holiday Dinners, private events at the museum. They also offer volunteer opportunities as well as art displays and of course history of the San Bernardino Mountains.
