K9 Kokua: Helping Houseless Dogs and Rescued Dogs

 
 
K9 Kokua is the only group in Hawai'i who specialize in helping the dogs of the houseless population and those affected by domestic violence. Dedicated volunteers provide direct outreach to dogs on multiple islands and respond to urgent calls from police and private sector personnel regarding unique situations of need. 
 
 
 
 
K9 Kokua is a 501c3 non-profit, all-volunteer run group that employs no one in order to maximize the resources and ultimately the impact on the dogs. K9 Kokua volunteers have been providing direct outreach, aide and vet care resources to houseless dogs for 15 years.
 
Like their houseless Human companions, many houseless dogs live on beaches, on sidewalks, in vehicles, under bridges, in cold wet valleys and relentlessly hot and sunny coastlines, making life severe for many destitute dogs. Your donations and Aloha provides all levels of attention and care, including bringing joy to a houseless dog's life.
