A perfect day for a perfect home inspection
Although Mother Nature can't make up her mind whether she should bless us with a mild winter or have our heat pumps work overtime (welcome to Maryland!), and the high today was only 24 degrees, it was the most gorgeous 24 degrees! Brilliant blue skies, and not a cloud covering up the sun's smile. It was a perfect day for a perfect home inspection! 
Spoiler alert.
There is - of course - no such thing as a perfect home as far as inspections are concerned. There is always something. When these 'somethings' are minor, however, and/or considered normal wear and tear; when the house is super clean; when it is obvious that it has been well maintained and loved; when great care went into preparing it for the market and the new owner(s); when there is a manual for everything; and when the home inspector is just such a pleasure to work with... then we can call it a perfect home inspection! 
And that is just how it played out at our inspections in the Villages of Urbana today. The home is in great shape, the buyer is happy, and the inspector is one of the best in the area. Truly!
