Endre Barath, Jr. is hosting January’s Challenge...What changes did you make last year or the year before that worked?  Posts like this are always a good time to reflect on our own lives and also learn from the stories of others. 
 
My journey of change began in 2018 when Larry and I made the decision to return to Houston after 30+ years away.  With the exception of several years in Leesburg, VA and a few years back in Houston (all for work), the majority of those years were in Delray Beach, FL. 
 
I would not have missed those wonderful years for anything but it was time.  
 
Our core group of extended family was growing up and some had moved away. As in all of life, things changed. 
 
It was time to move back to Houston to be closer to family.  While Larry and I are in good health (more or less) we knew that as we age it would be better to be near family. And even though it is my family that is in Texas, Larry’s daughter, son-in-law and our two grandsons are in Omaha, which is a lot closer to Texas than Florida.
