Awesome Day 11 - Today is the Day to Pay Someone a Compliment
I just saw Nina Hollander 's post, It's National Compliment Day: Everyone Loves A Compliment! I Know I Do!  As Nina writes in her post, scientific studies have long shown that compliments are  great motivators and help to build self-esteen. One study showed that people's performances improved with compliments.  Pyschology today defines compliments as "little gifts of love!" It's also been said that "compliments are like verbal sunshine!" 
I noticed that several of the compliments had to do with awesomeness!You're always learning new things and trying to better yourself, which is awesome.
In high school I bet you were voted "most likely to keep being awesome." Imagine what the world would be like if we considered every day and every person to be awesome and we acted accordingly and took the time to tell them exactly what we felt.  These compliments are from a website called happier.com.  Nina's post had a hundred awesome compliments from there  - you should stop by and pick out a few to try on your colleagues, friends and family.   Definitely use a few compliments today but maybe keep trying to find the awesome in others tomorrow too! and share the good vibes!
