10 Tips For Sellers to Shine During the Inspection
I was using the Search crtieria looking for tip ideas for sellers and found this Post by Belinda Spillman.  She made some really great points.  I really liked the way she ends the blog - talking about how important it is to have your home clean and sparkling for the home inspection!   This was a post from February 2015, but it is definitely still pertinent today.  Thank you Belinda!
A buyer has made an offer on your home and you are now UNDER CONTRACT.  The next phase of the process is the home inspection.  The inspector works for the BUYER so be sure to make your home shine!
Here are some simple tips to help eliminate the number inspection items. 
If the property is vacant, make sure the utilities are ON (including the water). Take your pets out of the property for the inspection.  Make sure all of your lights are functioning.  This may be as simple as replacing a light bulb.  Don’t let the inspector note that a light fixture is inoperable simply because the bulb is burned out.
