Call Reluctance Not A Concern
 
 
 
 
 
 A good friend who loves when I call has let me know she hates the phone and would instead do anything not to initiate a phone call. She thought I was brave in making calls. How interesting.

It's only a phone call.
 
When my daughter was very young, and I was a stay at home mom, I used to volunteer for various causes at her school that frequently required solicitation. I figured out a way to do that. First, I had to believe in the cause. Then I would make my donation. Only then could I call another parent and ask for their money, time, or whatever the school required.
By first believing in the need and then giving personally,
I can make that request.
