Buyers often seek out homes in North Shore villages that feed into New Trier High School. Often, the elementary or middle schools are less important than the final school their child will attend before college. We all know the caliber of the education and how well New Trier students do getting into the college of their choice.
 
New Trier’s main campus for sophomores, juniors, and seniors is in east Winnetka while a freshman-only campus was opened in 2005 in Northfield. From its entry on Wikipedia:
