Are Scripts Important?
Some real estate agents will agree: scripts are important. Buyers and Sellers seem to not have changed since the 1920s. It's 2020, and the only thing different is what invention you are using to communicate with them. 
 
Just as a refresher, here are some reasons it makes sense to utilize a script.
 
1. It helps you internalize your skill set.
Practice makes perfect, right? The more you use something - the more it becomes second nature. I can go to a karaoke bar and sing Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" without having to read the lyrics. This gives me a chance to play with the crowd, try a few different riffs, change up the melody slightly, but still sing the same song. Maybe one day I'll join a cover band? Probably not - but the point is the more you practice something, the better you are at it.
 
2. It's easier to handle objections
Buyers and sellers will have the same objections. You've seen the memes on Facebook pages. By having a rebuttal ready to go, it's easier to get their guard down so you can truly help them.
