Motivational Monday...Embrace Change
 
This is the time of year when change is all around us. We just had a time change, for example. On our walks, we’ve noticed the many signs from Mother Nature that a much-welcomed change is happening before our eyes. 
 
You’ve seen it...leaves that have been gone since Fall are showing up, little buds on branches that say I’m not done yet! 

Our Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve where we walk has been undergoing a change of sorts...trees have been removed as part of a flood control project by our county.
 
I hear fellow walkers expressing their dismay at this and I get it. On the other hand, not to do this would invite the kind of flooding that the county experienced during Hurricane Harvey. 
 
Change comes into our lives most any day...some welcomed, some not wanted at all, and some feared. 
 
Embrace the changes that you will face this week or the next. Meet them head-on and accept what is. 
 
You never know what that change may bring!
 


Remember that without change, there would be no butterflies. Without change, the dead of winter would never turn into the beauty of spring. Without change, the dark of night would never turn into the triumph of dawn.    Jayda ... more
